Job description

Warehouse & Delivery Associate

About the Role

StruXure Utah is seeking a Warehouse & Delivery Associate to oversee inventory, material receiving, staging, and job-site deliveries. This role manages key inventory for custom StruXure Pergolas and Progressive Magnatrack motorized patio screens, along with supporting hardware and consumables.

The ideal candidate lives within 25 minutes of the Woods Cross, UT warehouse, is comfortable operating a forklift, can tow and maneuver a 24' deck-over trailer, and can maintain flexibility to accept incoming freight deliveries on short notice.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position based on-site at the Woods Cross, UT warehouse, servicing job sites within a 75-mile radius with semi-on-call receiving duties and night-shift options available for non-receiving tasks.

What You'll Do

Receiving & Short-Notice Freight Offloading

  • Maintain on-call availability to arrive at the Woods Cross warehouse within a few hours to 1–2 days of notification for incoming freight deliveries
  • Safely unload long, heavy wooden crates (containing 2,000–4,000 lbs of aluminum) using a forklift
  • Inspect all incoming shipments (large freight, UPS, FedEx) for damage, conduct quality checks, and document receipt of inventory

Inventory Control & Staging

  • Unpack, sort, and organize incoming UPS/FedEx shipments of smaller components (heaters, fans, lights, fasteners, and motorized parts)
  • Stage all system components and accessories for each scheduled installation project
  • Receive unused or returned materials from installers following project completion and systematically restore them to inventory
  • Monitor stock levels of consumable materials (caulk, fasteners, drainage materials, standard hardware) and regularly place reorders to maintain operational stock

Equipment Operation & Deliveries

  • Load 24' deck-over trailers safely with heavy materials and secure loads according to DOT/safety standards
  • Drive company work trucks towing up to a 24' deck-over trailer within a 75-mile radius of Woods Cross, UT
  • Deliver trailers/materials directly to customer job sites, dropping off the trailer or coordinating with install crews for hand-unloading
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards

What You Bring

Required

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience towing and reversing heavy trailers (24' deck-over)
  • Must live within 25 minutes of the Woods Cross warehouse to accommodate short-notice receiving windows
  • Ability to manually lift and move up to 200 lbs. unassisted, as well as push, pull, bend, and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely (forklift certification provided post-hire)
  • Basic tech-savviness to track inventory digitally, document receipts, and place inventory orders online or by phone

Preferred

  • CDL (not required, but encouraged)
  • Prior experience in warehouse management or trailer hauling

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Hands-on role with variety — no two days are exactly the same
  • Work with cutting-edge motorized outdoor living products
  • Forklift certification provided post-hire
  • Opportunity to grow with a scaling company

Compensation

  • $22.00 – $27.00 / hour, depending on trailer-towing experience and forklift proficiency
  • Flexible working blocks, including night hours, for non-receiving tasks such as inventory sorting, job staging, and consumable ordering
  • Semi-on-call schedule for receiving duties
