Job description

Job Title: Delivery Driver (FedEx Route)

Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to transport and deliver packages along assigned residential and commercial routes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Route Operations: Safely operate delivery vehicles to load, transport, and deliver packages on daily assigned routes.
  • Package Handling: Scan, inspect, and organize packages for accurate delivery; handle packages weighing up to 50–70 lbs using hand trucks/dollies.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service at delivery stops and obtain required signatures/confirmations via scanner.
  • Vehicle Safety: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Age & License: Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50–150 lbs and maneuver heavier loads with proper equipment.
  • Background & Medical: Must pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT medical exam (if applicable).
  • Skills: Strong navigation, time management, and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to go through TSA screening
