Role Description This is for Peak Season with potential Full-time after peak (October 2026 to January 2027, on-site FEDEX Peak Driver role based in Ooltewah, TN. The driver will operate company trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver packages on assigned FEDEX routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include following designated delivery schedules, safely loading and unloading packages, and verifying delivery information and documentation. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, traffic laws, and FEDEX operational guidelines, as well as performing basic vehicle inspections before and after trips. The driver will interact with customers professionally at delivery locations, provide clear communication regarding packages as needed, and coordinate with dispatch and terminal staff to resolve route or delivery issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles; Driver License with F endorsement preferred be ready with Passport for TSA process.
  • Be at least 21 years of age or more
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, FEDEX personnel, and team members.
  • Customer service skills to interact courteously and professionally with package recipients and clients.
  • Ability to safely handle and secure packages and operate trucks in various weather and traffic conditions.
  • Clean driving record and familiarity with DOT regulations and standard safety procedures.
  • Reliable time management and route planning abilities to meet delivery deadlines during peak periods.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, 50 lbs and more and move packages as required by FEDEX delivery standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in delivery, courier, or logistics driving roles is beneficial.
