About the Role:

As a FedEx Contracted Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to customers across various locations in the United States. This position requires you to manage your delivery route efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. You will be responsible for handling packages with care, verifying delivery information, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers. The role demands a strong commitment to punctuality, reliability, and adherence to FedEx policies and procedures. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of FedEx’s logistics operations and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by FedEx.
  • Physical ability to lift packages up to 150 pounds and perform repetitive tasks such as loading and unloading.
  • Ability to run rural routes along with some in town routes.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Would prefer experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, if not will train.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and problem-solving.
