Position Overview

JREL, Inc. is seeking drivers who are safe, reliable, and efficient, and who can work independently with minimal supervision.

This role involves delivering packages across rural and semi-rural areas, including two-lane highways. Routes are typically located between the Baton Rouge station listed above and Jackson, LA, primarily along LA-19 and U.S. 61.

Successful drivers enjoy long hours on the road, prioritize safety, and take pride in meeting customer expectations.

Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • No CDL required
  • Must consent to:
  • Background check
  • 5-panel urine drug test
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Able to lift up to 49 lbs and handle heavier packages up to 150 lbs using a dolly
  • Comfortable driving long hours and on two-lane rural highways
  • Passionate about driving, safety, and customer service
  • FedEx Ground delivery experience is a plus
  • Saturday availability is preferred and may be required based on business needs
  • Active FedEx badge is preferred but not required
