Job description

Overview
Provide support for daily branch operations, i.e. pull orders, and put away stock.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
  • Pull orders for customers, check orders for accuracy
  • Load and unload shipments/deliveries in a timely manner while using proper equipment
  • Prepare product for shipment via UPS, FedEx and common carrier
  • Receive shipments from UPS, FedEx and common carrier
  • Handle and process paperwork on damaged product.
  • Prepare Returns and Reclaims for shipment including appropriate paperwork
  • Break down and put away stock using proper equipment
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously by name (if known)
  • Answer telephones promptly and courteously identifying yourself and the company
  • Regular and punctual attendance

Other Job Functions
  • Assist at counter as needed
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment inside and out; i.e., empty trash, sweep floors, clean bathroom(s), etc.
  • Perform related jobs as required

Qualifications
Meet the following physical requirements:
  • Ability to carry at least 75 pounds
  • Lift boxes up to 3.6 cubic feet/105 lbs (4-5 hours daily)
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Prolonged standing, bending, stooping and stretching
