Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Monday-Friday (1:00pm-5:00pm).

  • Process all incoming mail and overnight packages.

  • Sort mail by Mail Stop.

  • Deliver mail by Mail Stop throughout floors.

  • Delivery and pick up of FedEx, UPS, and USPS throughout floors to and from the mailroom.

  • Process all outgoing mail, USPS, UPS, and FedEx, with attention to shipment details.

  • Assist and advise end users of mail and shipping procedures, i.e. bulk mailings, international shipping etc.

  • Assist employees in preparing special mail types (Certified, Express, Priority mail) with proper postage.

  • Meter all outgoing mail, utilizing best cost option among carriers.

  • Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.

  • Follow all departmental activities in accordance with set procedures and schedules.

  • Help maintain inventory of all supplies in mail areas. This includes FedEx shipping supplies, general office supplies etc.

  • Assist manager as needed.

Minimal Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.

  • Must be familiar with using a computer/emails.

  • Familiarity and ability to operate all equipment as necessary.

  • Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Knowledgeable of postal regulations and mailing procedures.

  • Copier/FedEx/USPS and Postage Machine Knowledge.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand/walk for long periods.

  • Lift up to 25lbs.

  • Dexterity.

  • Bending.

  • Kneeling.

  • Twisting.

  • Gross Motor Skills.
