SUMMARY

The Victory College Work Study program provides part‑time jobs for students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay for college. These positions support the college staff members by performing duties and tasks that play an integral role assisting in the daily operations of Victory College.

SERVICE AREAS
  • Class Monitor – School of Creative Arts (SOCA)
  • Class Monitor – School of Ministry
  • Attendance Monitor
  • Office Support: Admissions, Registrar, Marketing, Administration
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain Victory College protocol, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate integrity.
  • Perform and maintain tasks with an appropriate level of confidentiality.
  • Represent Victory College in service to all students and guests; in the classroom and office settings.
  • Adhere to the Honor Code, institutional rules and standards of conduct.
  • Office support tasks: answer phones, greet visitors, relay messages, send bulk emails on behalf of staff, clean and organize, file, and prepare and deliver mail.
  • Enforce the Honor Code, institutional rules and Code of Conduct in the classroom setting.
  • Serve as faculty assistants and Audio/Visual assistants in the classroom setting.
  • Communicate with office staff as needed for emergency or disciplinary actions.
  • Complete data input for daily attendance records.
  • Project support: perform specific tasks as part of project teams (registration, graduation, orientation, etc.).
  • Event support: serve as key team members during events for all Victory College Departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or GED (minimum).
  • Enrolled in Victory College.
  • Native English speaker or the capacity to successfully pass a TOEFL exam with instructional proficiency.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPhysical Requirements
  • Standing, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
  • Extended time at a desk working with close‑up tasks primarily in an environmentally controlled office.
  • Proficient in oral and written communications.
