Job description

McDaniel & Associates, PC is seeking a motivated professional to serve as a full-time Senior Tax Accountant/Manager working with our team to provide accounting, tax preparation, and business consulting services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review of federal and multi-state tax returns for diverse entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, and individuals
  • Research complex tax issues, stay current with legislative changes, and manage IRS or state audits and correspondence
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities to grow the firm's practice
  • Provide tax planning and strategic advisory services
  • Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff accountants 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA Preferred
  • 5+ Years of Experience
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and tax software (CCH Axcess, Engagement)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees and management
