Position is contingent upon contract award
As the Security Escort, you will be responsible for monitoring and escorting uncleared personnel, visitors, and contractors within controlled access areas to ensure compliance with government security regulations and site-specific procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain professionalism in high-security environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Escort and continuously monitor uncleared personnel and visitors within secure facilities and controlled areas
  • Ensure all escorted personnel comply with established security protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Prevent unauthorized access to classified or restricted areas, information, and equipment
  • Maintain visual and auditory contact with escorted personnel at all times while in secure spaces
  • Report security violations, suspicious activity, or incidents to appropriate security personnel immediately
  • Verify identification badges, visitor credentials, and access authorizations
  • Maintain accurate escort logs, visitor records, and incident documentation
  • Support facility security operations and assist with access control functions as needed
  • Adhere to all Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and facility-specific security requirements
  • Conduct duties with discretion, integrity, and professionalism

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of security, military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Ability to understand and enforce security policies and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
  • Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and perform shift work as required
  • Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community or Department of Defense environments
  • Experience working in classified facilities (SCIF environments)
  • Knowledge of access control systems and visitor management procedures
  • Military veteran or prior federal security experience preferred
