ABOUT LCI

  • SERVE: Many of our products are sold directly to the federal government. We were pioneers of "base supply centers," stores on military bases that employ the blind and visually impaired and provide mission-critical supplies to our nation's military.
  • SUPPORT: We want to end blindness forever. To that end, we engage in philanthropic efforts for research into blindness and treatment for the visually impaired.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This role exists to execute people related administrative duties and coordination that optimizes efficiency and ensures exceptional employee and candidate experience.
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
Durham, NC
Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM (Fully Onsite)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation.
  • Coordinate internship program with department leaders.
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to facilitate exceptional employee experiences.
  • Responsible for employee documentation (i.e. files and/or electronic profiles).
  • Responsible for contingent front desk and administrative support.
  • Drive exceptional people experiences.
  • Ensure employee data integrity and file management.
  • Coordinate People workflows for consistent results and process.
  • Own internship program lifecycle.
  • Assist with front desk operations and administrative workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources or Administration
