Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Cleared Goverment in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Must possess a DOD clearance.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
