Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $115,000.00 Annually

Summary:

Currently seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance. You will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure the software meets quality standards.
  • Report bugs and issues to the development team, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce the problem.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Document test cases, test results, and defects to support development and maintenance.
  • Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and testing.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure the software meets performance criteria and benchmarks.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and techniques and implement improvements in the testing process.
  • Participate in and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate end-to-end business workflows.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience testing healthcare software applications.
  • Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
  • Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) programs or other federal government agencies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience testing healthcare software applications.
  • Proficiency in testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins), scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python), and SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
