The Sr. Financial Analyst, Commercial Sales supports the Commercial Sales / Business Development team & the Finance team to ensure sales and revenue results for HARIBO of America’s customers (retailers) are communicated effectively and efficiently to both internal and external stakeholders. TheSr. Financial Analyst – Commericial Salesis responsible for developing, managing, and providing visibility into sales performance by product (breakdown on specific HARIBO products), customer (specific retailers, retail chains), and broker as well as providing Trade Spend reporting.

Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the idealSenior Financial Analyst – Commercial Sales will have at least five (5) years of work experience in financial analysis and 2+ years of experience working in the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry with involvement in Sales Finance or Revenue Management related responsibilities, advanced Excel skills, strong communication skills, the ability to present to senior leadership, and a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide reporting to sales / business development team & the Finance team for HARIBO of America
  • Lead analysis of product and customer (retailer) profitability with variance analysis to plans and forecasts
  • Develop ROI / Return On Investment analysis to guide stakeholders and senior leadership on new products, product portfolio mix, product pricing, and product promotion decisions
  • Partner with senior leadership, Sales, and Information Technology teams to identify, develop, and implement process enhancements to reporting and analytical deliverables
  • Enable accurate trade spend reporting and controls including communication of opportunities and risks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience in financial analysis related roles
  • 2+ years of CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience in Sales Finance, Revenue Management, Pricing, Trade Promotion, FP & A –Financial Planning & Analysis, or other related roles that relate to the Sales Finance and/or Revenue Management functions within a Consumer Goods organization
  • Demonstrated advanced Excel skills
  • Experience accurately forecasting in a given area and understanding the key drivers of that area
Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits

Target Hiring Pay Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually

This pay range represents the min/max target annual base salary range HARIBO of America, Inc. may pay for this position at the time of this posting. Please note, a candidate’s offered annual salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and the geographical location of the role.
