Job description

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:

  • Manage vendor setup, maintain vendor accounts, and process payments in the state accounting system.
  • Assist with employee training and compliance initiatives, including travel and P-card management.
  • Support program managers with procurement and purchasing needs.
  • Maintain financial data in a system to assist with preparation of annual reports.
  • Be a payroll coordinator for the Division.
  • Prepare documents and make payments in Vantage Financial.
  • Ensure financial compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and department rules, policies, standards and practices.
  • Report findings and make recommendations.
  • Research and review financial records, transactions, and documentation.
  • Process Cash Receipts.
  • Handle payment history changes.
  • Reviews fiscal transactions to ensure integrity, accuracy and control of data.
  • Read, interpret, maintain and analyze income statements.
  • Input payroll data into Vantage Payroll act as Payroll Coordinator for Division.
