Job description

Job Summary Senior Support Technicians assist in the preparation and testing of electronic voting equipment. They also support deliver and set up of voting equipment at polling locations. During Early Voting and Election Day, these workers are part of a rapid response team assigned to support polling locations, providing on-site technical support and supply replenishment.

They also manage a small number of Field Support Technicians. Excellent Customer service skills are necessary and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required.

Experience with mobile devices and apps is required. A valid driver's license is required. Training on elections procedures, operation of the electronic voting equipment, election law, and troubleshooting techniques will be provided.

Must pass a criminal background check and driving record check. The pay is $20.00 per hour. This is a Temporary/Seasonal position

Work Environment & Other Information Location: 5501 Airport Blvd, Austin, TX 78751 Department: County Clerk - Elections Division Criminal Background Check Required. In accordance with Executive Order 14248, non-citizens are prohibited from participating in the administration of any Federal election, including access to election equipment, ballots, or related materials.
