Job description

PRN Hospitalist

Moffitt Cancer Center's Department of Internal and Hospital Medicine invites applications for a PRN Hospitalist position. We are a hybrid academic practice affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

The PRN Hospitalist practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. The PRN Hospitalist provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education.

Requirements:

Successful applicants must be board certified (or eligible) in Internal Medicine. Possess active FL MD Licensure or have eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida.

Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is Florida's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are expanding our faculty to meet substantial institutional growth. The Cancer Center comprises a large, 3 facility ambulatory care practice, a 206-bed hospital, with a 36-bed blood and marrow transplant program, 15 state of the art operating suites, a 30 bed intensive care unit, a high volume screening program, and a basic science research facility.

The Chief will allocate the position's effort between clinical, research, educational and administrative activities.
