Standard Fire Protection, part of the  Altus Fire & Life Safety family of companies, is looking for a Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems Technician to join our team!

Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $35.00 / hourResponsibilities
  • Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain kitchen hood fire suppression systems
  • Perform work in compliance with FDNY codes, NFPA standards, and company procedures
  • Diagnose system issues and complete repairs as needed
  • Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards
Required Skills
  • Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with kitchen hood suppression systems
  • Licensing/Certifications:
    • FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-17 (required)
    • OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity and experience with Ansul systems
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience working in commercial kitchens or restaurant environments
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
