Job description

Company Overview

We are a California-based AI healthcare startup. We aim to solve patient pain points in the U.S. through an AI doctor platform combined with a legal drug supply model. Our supply chain and AI technology are already integrated, we now require a medical research expert to help precisely position our products, evaluate the market and ensure 100% compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on target medications (with an emphasis on compound drugs), analyzing market demand, target patient populations, purchase intent, competitive landscapes and pricing strategies.
  • Research FDA and California pharmaceutical regulations to assess legal compliance and identify legal pathways (e.g., 503A/503B compounding pharmacy supply paths, patient-specific prescription models etc.).
  • Assist the company in determining the first batch of drugs for sale and formulate pharmaceutical positioning and market entry strategies based on research findings.
  • Continuously track changes in FDA policy, drug shortage lists and compliance risks, providing regular reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with AI and sales teams to ensure product selection addresses market pain points while remaining fully legal.

Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Academic background in Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Health, Pharmaceutical Law or related fields.
  • Must possess solid medical law knowledge and hands-on experience with FDA regulations.
  • Must have work experience in pharmaceutical/medical market research or FDA compliance (including reading/interpreting FDA documents, policy analysis and compliance path design).
  • Ability to independently complete high quality research reports with strong data analysis skills.
  • Fluent in English (proficient in reading/analyzing official FDA documents), Mandarin Chinese is required.
  • Legal work status in the U.S. and familiarity with the California medical environment is preferred.

What We Offer

  • Exceptional performers may transition to core partners.
  • The company provides full legal support, allowing you to focus entirely on research and insights.
