Mammography Technologist - Contract

Location: Craig, CO
Pay Rate: $60.00–$65.00/hr
Schedule: Days
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 2 years

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract in Craig, CO. This role is ideal for a Mammo Tech with strong breast imaging experience, patient care skills, and knowledge of mammography regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography and radiologic imaging procedures
  • Support daily operations of the women’s health radiology section
  • Follow FDA, ALARA, accreditation, and quality assurance standards
  • Verify exam orders, patient identity, medical history, and required consent
  • Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records, charges, and exam documentation
  • Operate mammography equipment safely and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Assist with QA, preventative maintenance, supply inventory, and workflow support

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
  • ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) required
  • BLS/BCLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
  • Mammography experience required
  • PACS and RIS/HIS experience preferred
  • Cross-training in CT, MRI, or DEXA preferred
  • Ability to work day shift
