Truth & Love Homecare is a licensed California Home Care Organization serving Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, Menifee, Corona, Riverside, and surrounding Inland Empire communities. We are hiring compassionate, reliable Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors and adults across our region.

Position Overview

As a Home Care Aide with Truth & Love Homecare, you will provide personalized non-medical care in clients' private residences. This is a hands-on role requiring compassion, reliability, physical stamina, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence care

• Mobility support: transfers, ambulation, fall prevention

• Meal planning, preparation, and feeding assistance

• Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, tidying client living areas

• Medication reminders (verbal prompting only — no administration)

• Companionship, conversation, and cognitive engagement

• Errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments

• Accurate documentation of care provided each shift

• Timely communication with office and client families

Required Qualifications

• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration — or registeristration within 10 days

• Current CPR/First Aid certification — or willing to obtain within 30 days

• Negative TB test within the past 12 months

• Ability to pass Live Scan background check (DOJ and FBI)

• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation

• Auto insurance coverage

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks

• Strong English communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)

• At least 18 years of age

• Reliable and punctual — consistent attendance is essential

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months prior caregiving, CNA, HHA, or hospital tech experience (willing to hire new grads)

• Dementia or Alzheimer's care experience

• Hospice or end-of-life care experience

• Bilingual Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese a plus

• Experience with mechanical lifts and transfer equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications

• Bilingual Spanish: +$1.00/hour

• Dementia care certified: +$1.00/hour

• CNA certified: +$2.00/hour

• Weekend differential: +$2.00/hour

• Holiday pay: 1.5x regular rate on major holidays

• 24-hour live-in rate: $220-$260 per day (if available)

• Mileage reimbursement between client assignments at IRS standard rate

• Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit
