KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a current, permanent FBI employee
  • Must be able to obtain an SCI clearance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is primarily sedentary, although some physical effort may be required. Employee may be required to lift moderately heavy items of approximately 20 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office. However, work may also be performed in shipping/receiving areas, warehouse environments, and records storage areas. Protective clothing and gear and observance of safety precautions may be required, depending on the type of work performed. Occasional travel may be required, and some irregular hours may be required.
MAJOR DUTIES
  • Performs a variety of analytical and liaison work functions in support of the Field Office (FO) Resident Agency (RA) and personnel.
  • Completes projects designed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and supports programs in the assigned office through some or all of the following functions: liaison; analysis; facilities and space management; financial administration; human resources (HR) management, inventory and records management, and/or various other office support functions.
  • Prepares administrative and other reports for submission to FO and present findings, orally and in writing, to higher-level management in the RA or FO as required.
  • Responsible for a variety of general administrative duties performed in support of the office and serves as the customer service representative and fields questions for the office.
  • Serves as liaison for facilities, office planning, building and equipment maintenance.
  • Manages, coordinates and controls inventory systems for the office.
  • Serves as records management liaison.

Education

GS-11: Applicant must have a Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements provided you can show foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
