What is an FBI analyst?

FBI analysts are professionals who support the Federal Bureau of Investigation by collecting, evaluating, and interpreting information to help solve crimes and protect national security. They analyze intelligence, produce reports, and collaborate with agents and other agencies to uncover threats, track criminal activity, and support ongoing investigations. Their work is vital for making informed decisions and ensuring the effectiveness of FBI operations. FBI analysts can specialize in areas such as intelligence, cybercrime, financial crime, or terrorism.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an FBI analyst?

To thrive as an FBI Analyst, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a relevant bachelor's degree—often in criminal justice, cybersecurity, or a related field.
