Job description

Client Services Specialist

We are looking for a Client Services Specialist to join our client services team providing outstanding service to CBIZ private equity clients in the area of Global Information Reporting and Co-sourcing (FATCA, CRS).

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • May prepare and complete IRS Forms SS-4 (Application for Employer Identification Number)
  • Organizing and drafting IRS Forms 8832 (Entity Classification Election)
  • Registering client entities on the IRS FATCA Registration System to obtain Global Intermediary Identification Numbers (GIINs) & the Cayman DITC Portal
  • Monitoring co-sourcing client in-boxes
  • Corresponding with clients' investors to solicit Forms W-9, W-8, and CRS self-certifications
  • Maintaining detailed trackers of contact with investors and their statuses
  • Attending trainings and maintaining knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and related GIR topics
  • Performing special projects as required and any other duties assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of accounting work experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
