Job description

JOB SUMMARY and KEY OBJECTIVES:
Performs repetitive work station or line assembly operations and assembles units to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:
  • Ensures any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
  • Operates press brake to assemble sheets.
  • Operates automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls.
  • Operates index machine
  • Performs carpenter related work.
  • Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
  • Installs lights and wiring.
  • Operates fork lift as required.
  • Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
  • Performs related duties as needed by supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High school education, and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
  • Ability to do heavy lifting
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Full range of physical motion throughout the torso
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
  • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
