  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Entry Level Quality Engineering position with basic mechanical and/or manufacturing knowledge who is familiar with and basic quality principles.   The Quality Engineer will assist the Quality Manager with preparing for third party audits (ISO, AS9100, NADCAP, FAA) as well as ensuring all manufactured products meet the customer requirements and industry specifications prior to shipment.  The QE will communicate directly with management providing status of quality projects, current workload, quality concerns, and personnel training progression.

  • Maintain current revisions of internal procedures and external specifications to ensure compliance with all requirements
  • Investigate nonconforming products and mitigate recurrence
  • Maintain and track quality metrics (scrap, rework, on-time delivery, etc.)
  • Ability to complete reports, such as First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) utilizing AS9102 forms
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and evaluate data to determine appropriate follow-up actions
  • Ability to create quality related work instructions, procedures, forms, documents, etc.
  • Maintain a register of quality rejections to track trends. Perform risk assessments and root cause analysis; provide corrective action steps
  • Perform other duties as required
