Job Summary:
Stark Tech is a leader in facilities and energy solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their R&D team. The role involves building and supporting software solutions for commercial HVAC operations, contributing to the software development lifecycle, and deploying cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
• build and support software solutions for commercial HVAC operations
• develop and maintain applications that support automation, internal tools, and system development initiatives
• contribute across the software development lifecycle
• write clean, testable code
• debug applications
• participate in code reviews
• collaborate with teammates on evolving projects
• support existing systems
• deploy cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure
• contribute to testing and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals (Python preferred).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with Git and basic software development practices such as testing and debugging.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems in an evolving environment.
• Willingness to maintain and improve existing systems as well as develop new solutions.
Preferred:
• Exposure to technologies such as Docker, SQL, REST APIs, FastAPI, or cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
