Job description


As a Sr Advanced Software Architect here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in designing and advancing sophisticated software architectures that drive innovation and excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, robust, and cutting-edge software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
In this role, you will impact the future of Honeywell Aerospace's software products by shaping architectural strategies, ensuring technical quality, and enabling the delivery of high-value solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced software architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams.
  • Participate in architectural reviews, code quality assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 6 years of proven experience in software architecture design and development, with a focus on data, analytics, and AI.
  • Knowledge of data analytics design patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
  • 6 years of hands-on experience developing data using Gov Cloud, or Python, spark, databricks, Gemini, Agentic AI, including experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with asynchronous frameworks such as Python (FastAPI) or Node.js/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern tools such as LangGraph and LangChain.
  • Experience building responsive, data-driven user interfaces using modern UI frameworks.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and C#, knowledge Graph
  • Knowledge of vector databases for semantic search, alongside traditional relational databases.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs from multiple providers.
  • Experience with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in integrating security best practices into software architecture.
  • Track record of delivering complex software architecture projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Analytical skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation
