We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Personal Injury law to join our dynamic and growing legal team. Responsibilities
Assist attorney with all aspects of personal injury cases, including case intake, document preparation, and file management
Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and legal arguments
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests such as interrogatories, settlement agreements, and correspondence
Manage case files efficiently using document management systems like MyCase, OneDrive and EvenUp, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Coordinate client interviews, gather evidence, and facilitate communication between clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
Support litigation processes by preparing trial exhibits, organizing deposition transcripts, and assisting with court filings
Preparing demand letters, wage loss arguments, prepare settlement statements and stay apprised of deadlines and calendaring
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information while handling large volumes of legal documentation with precision
Qualifications
Paralegal certification or equivalent legal support experience with a focus on personal injury law or related fields such as civil litigation support or workers’ compensation law
Proficiency in legal research and ai platforms; familiarity with procedural law knowledge in WA, OR, or AZ or any combination of them is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and interdepartmental collaboration
Experience with case management software such as Mycase or Clio, or similar systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is essential, and fast typing skills
Knowledge of document review techniques, legal drafting standards, and litigation procedures to support attorneys effectively
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
