Location: Irvine, CA

The Position: We are actively seeking a Tax Director or Senior Tax Manager ready to step into a Partner-track leadership role. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of client relationships, lead teams, and play a key role in the firm’s continued expansion.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, providing proactive tax planning and consulting
  • Review and oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as a trusted business partner
  • Mentor, develop, and manage tax staff and managers
  • Identify opportunities for new business and contribute to firm growth initiatives
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws and ensure compliance across all engagements
  • Collaborate with leadership on firm strategy and operational improvements


Qualifications:

  • CPA license required
  • 10+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Proven experience managing complex tax engagements and client relationships
  • Strong background in pass-through entities, HNW individuals, and/or closely held businesses
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Business development mindset or interest in growing into that responsibility
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
