GI Lab Technician
Valley Presbyterian Hospital
Support Specialized Procedures & Patient Care
At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our GI Lab team plays a vital role in delivering safe and efficient procedural care. We're seeking a skilled GI Lab Technician to support endoscopic procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure a high-quality patient experience.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare and ensure availability of supplies and equipment for GI procedures
  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and related equipment
  • Monitor and document disinfecting processes and equipment logs
  • Support patient preparation, transport, and comfort before and after procedures
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, reporting any issues
  • Operate video and computer systems used in GI procedures
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support patient care

What You Bring

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
