Job Description:

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume Cath Lab, working closely with a team that includes a Lead Tech and RNs. Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamics, assisting with procedures involving conscious sedation, and ensuring effective airway management and use of cardiac drips.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform procedures with 2 techs and assist RNs with conscious sedation.
  • Monitor hemodynamics and manage procedural processes.
  • Assist in room assignments and maintain organization within the Cath Lab.
  • Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases as needed.

Requirements:

  • ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications required.
  • Current cath lab experience with skills in cardiac, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions.
  • Comfortable with procedural processes, sedation, and use of cardiac drips such as Integrilin and vasopressors.
