Duties

  • Lead and supervise restaurant team members during your shift, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness are maintained at all times
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Manage POS systems such as Toast or Foodtec for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation
  • Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs and availability
  • Train new staff members on food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations to foster a skilled team environment
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation practices across all areas of the restaurant
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism, turning challenges into positive experiences
  • Assist with budgeting tasks, shift scheduling, and overall restaurant management to support operational efficiency
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-9pm

Experience

  • Proven experience in food service management or supervising teams within quick service or fast food restaurants
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with casual dining or fine dining experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Foodtec POS for transaction processing and reporting
  • Demonstrated skills in staff training & development, interviewing potential team members, and supervising daily operations
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, inventory control practices, and hospitality management principles
  • Previous experience in restaurant management roles including assistant manager or shift supervisor is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
