Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and hydraulic systems maintenance.

The Equipment and Facilities Maintenance position requires a strong background in heavy equipment and/or industrial maintenance. Expectations include computer literacy, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, a can-do attitude with regard to developing solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and strong initiative/accountability with minimal supervision. Emphasis on safety and implementation of 6-S practices should always be top priority.

Responsibilities
· Maintain safety requirements, wearing proper PPE

· Maintain all equipment, machines, tools, and the manufacturing facility

· Develop, implement, and maintain a predictive maintenance program to ensure required machine performance

· Perform routine facility maintenance

· Repair equipment and machines as required, in a timely fashion, with documentation

· Fabricate items as needed to assist with production needs

· Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering on various projects

· Maintain safety standards, practices, and documentation to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations

· Prioritize safety and cleanliness in all areas of work

· Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics

· Basic knowledge of electrical systems, CNC equipment, fabrication, welding, and machining

· Team collaboration and respect of others throughout the plant

Experience
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred
- Proficiency in electrical and hydraulic systems maintenance
- Familiarity with stick welding techniques
- 3 years in related job
