Responsibilities

  • Apply AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu for redline markups.
  • Support the design and production of site civil construction documents related to Federal, Power, Architectural, Water/Wastewater, and Industrial Clients.
  • Develop site civil design improvements in Civil 3D including site layout of driveways, parking and sidewalks, grading, storm water management, drainage, utility systems, and erosion and sediment control.
  • Build and manage surface and utility profile models in Civil 3D including gravity and pressure pipe networks.
  • Develop and prepare detailed construction drawings in Civil 3D to ensure that the files and plans adhere to HDR and/or client standards.
  • Organize and manage model files, references, and data shortcuts to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of site civil design concepts including earthwork, surfaces, site grading, profiles and pipe networks.

  • Apply knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) for project collaboration and document management.
  • Maintain an attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of site civil design concepts, industry standards and practices
  • Navisworks, MicroStation and OpenRoads experience is welcomed
Required Qualifications

  • Technically qualified with 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Competency of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Experience with 3D Coordination tools
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
  • Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
