Inside Sales Associate.
The Inside Sales Associates work on the phone and at our branch's counter desk to service contractors, distributors, and retailers purchasing fence products.

Inside Sales Associate daily expectations include:
  • Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospect customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
  • Calling the current customers, by phone, to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
  • Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
  • Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement.

Desired sales experience or applicable product knowledge:
  • Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware.
  • Do-It-Yourself retail.
  • Construction.
  • Mechanical/Electrical.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
  • Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations plus, and informs Branch Manager.
  • Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
  • Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
  • Prepares job order quotations based upon customer requests and information.
  • Communicate by phone or email with customers from time of order to time of shipment.

Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of customer service/sales experience.
  • Excellent phone and customer facing experience.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Decking/Railing experience is a plus
  • Computer literate and proficiency in MS applications (EXCEL required).
