Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing individual with Cashier and retail experience. Cashier positions offer an opportunity to be a productive team member while providing excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Cashier and retail experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time
  • Committed to excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules - days, evenings, weekends (shift premium paid for working weekends)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and welcome customers
  • Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately (cash, correct change, credit cards, debit cards, and checks)
  • Scan and bag items for customers
  • Process customer returns and exchanges according to store policy
  • Promote store loyalty programs/special promotions/coupon redemption
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
  • Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
  • Handling phone calls
