Join Our Team: Rental Technician
Quinn Rental Services operates through The Cat® Rental Store in Southern and Central California. Our fleet includes the latest models from Caterpillar and over 70 other manufacturers. This selection gives you access to well-maintained, high-performance equipment whenever you need it.
Wages
The Technician's starting wage will depend on experience and education.
Rate: $33.00-$41.50
Responsibilities
Quinn Rental Technician is responsible for cleaning machines, organizing equipment and components in yard, and performing light maintenance to machines and components used in heavy equipment industry.

Location: Foothill Ranch/Irvine area

Requirements:
  • Inspect equipment
  • PM services, 90-day bits, ansi
  • Troubleshooting equipment
  • Understanding of electrical, hydraulics, engine components
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment malfunctions and failures
  • Ability to operate equipment and function test machines
  • Follows all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area
  • Understands the operation, function, specifications, capabilities and controls of any piece of rental equipment
  • Completes all documents associated with repairs in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist in rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining equipment and components
  • Adhere to manager's and lead mechanic's directions regarding all repairs and service calls
  • Required to work overtime if needed
  • Perform other work-related duties as directed or assigned
