These competencies are crucial for ensuring efficient farm operations, profitability, and long-term sustainability.

What is a farm owner operator?

Farm Owner Operators are individuals who own and manage their own farms, overseeing daily operations, crop or livestock production, and all business aspects of the farm. They are responsible for making key decisions about planting, harvesting, equipment purchasing, budgeting, and hiring labor. Farm Owner Operators must also ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and often handle marketing and sales of their products.
