Job description
Overview
What if your next position transcended traditional career moves and opened the door to a fulfilling life? A life where you can deliver impactful, relationship-focused healthcare while establishing roots in one of the most vibrant and nurturing regions west of the atmosphere-the Texas Panhandle? Picture the beauty of Amarillo, with its golden sunsets and wide-open skies, inviting you to find not just a job but a genuine community connection.
We are on the hunt for an empathetic, board-certified Family Medicine Specialist to integrate into a team committed to delivering exceptional, hands-on primary care. This role is a harmonious blend of innovative practices and heartfelt connections, inviting you to partner with patients in their health journeys rather than simply treating symptoms. Our dedication extends to holistic care, value-centric models, and collaborative innovations that encourage both your clinical effectiveness and a balanced lifestyle.
Should you choose to grow your practice in a community that cherishes health, creativity, and genuine relationships, we wholeheartedly invite you to explore a bright future that feels just as rewarding as it appears.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families spanning all ages-from children to seniors.
- Oversee management of chronic conditions, ensure preventive care, address acute illnesses, and support mental health with a patient-first philosophy.
- Perform physical examinations, analyze diagnostic results, and create tailored treatment strategies.
- Collaborate closely with care coordinators, specialty providers, and behavioral health experts to secure holistic outcomes.
- Engage in quality enhancement initiatives aimed at boosting patient health outcomes and improving operational efficiency.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure precise and current patient documentation.
- Provide care both in-person and via virtual platforms to meet diverse patient preferences.
- MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Eligible for or currently hold an active Texas medical license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Superior diagnostic acumen coupled with clinical expertise focused on preventive care.
- Familiarity with value-based care strategies and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
- Technologically adept with experience in EMRs and telehealth frameworks.
- A dedication to delivering empathetic and inclusive care to varied communities.
- Competitive salary base with performance incentives and a sign-on bonus.
- Health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Generous paid time off and holiday allowances.
- Continuing medical education (CME) funding and allocated days for CME participation.
- 401(k) with matching contributions from the employer.
- Welcoming, physician-led atmosphere that prioritizes personal growth and well-being.
- Potential for equity sharing and advancement opportunities.
- Fully-equipped clinic environment supported by administrative and technological teams.
