FANUC Robot Programmer
Location: Marshall, MI
Contract Length: 4-6+ Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced FANUC Robot Programmers for a 3–6 month contract in Marshall, MI. The ideal candidate works independently with little to no guidance and is comfortable programming, troubleshooting, and recovering FANUC robotics systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities

  • Program, modify, and optimize FANUC robot programs for production applications
  • Perform TCP setup and verification, path corrections, position adjustments, and touch-ups
  • Troubleshoot and recover FANUC robots from faults, alarms, and crashes during live production
  • Support robotic applications including material handling, welding, and assembly
  • Perform offline programming and simulation using FANUC Roboguide
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Support machine builds, runoffs, and customer buy-off activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation of programs, backups, and process changes
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures around automated equipment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on FANUC robot programming experience — REQUIRED
  • Ability to write programs independently from scratch
  • Strong fault recovery and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
