Job Description

CNBC is looking for an experienced Producer to be responsible for creating, producing, and overseeing segments. In this role, you will be an integral part of covering the most significant financial news stories of the day. ย This position is on the โ€œFast Money.โ€ This position will also involve serving as a line producer for Fast Money at times.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the editorial vision of the show each day, including suggesting stories and guests for the show
  2. Write and produce segments
  3. Work with EP & Sr. Producer on building rundowns & show documents
  4. Ability to work with desk & across departments on show logistics & segment execution
  5. Become involved in planning process
  6. Be in control room for live broadcast

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  1. Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 6 years of Editorial experience in a fast-paced news room environment, ability to anticipate and respond quickly to change
  3. Strong understanding of the markets and prior experience at a financial news network
  4. Experience working with anchors & senior management on shows and across departments
