ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2025 and currently lead a growing team of three. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in the nonprofit sector, where serving others and making a positive impact were at the center of my career. I’m a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and also attended seminary. Outside of work, I’m married with three kids and am a big sports fan.
Community involvement continues to be an important part of my life and our agency. I’m active in my church and stay connected locally through the Pace and Santa Rosa County Chambers of Commerce and the Rotary Club.
Our agency offers health benefits, paid time off, licensing reimbursement, professional and leadership development opportunities, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. As a newer and growing agency, this is also a great opportunity for team members who want to develop their skills and grow into greater responsibilities over time.
Our culture is family-oriented, supportive, and built around teamwork. I’m looking for someone who brings a great attitude, works hard, and leads with integrity. Reliability, grit, and adaptability are especially important to us. If you want to be part of a growing team where people support one another and your professional development is encouraged, we’d love to meet you.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Manager for John Cowling - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agent office departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
