Job Title: Fan Experience Intern WEP
Position Type: Internship - For College Credit Hours Only
Semester or Year-Long
Location: On-Site
Overview of FC Tulsa (FCT)
FC Tulsa (FCT) is seeking a Fan Experience Intern to join our team on a semester or one year basis. As part of the evolving Marketing Department at FCT, we are seeking to employ an energetic and dynamic intern to assist in our goal of creating match day experiences and events that our fans never forget. This role would work directly with the Director, Events, Entertainment, and Fan Experience.
Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Marketing Team, the Fan Experience Intern supports the department by assisting in the development, coordination, and implementation of fan experience and promotion efforts for match days and events.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with executing promotions at ONEOK Field on match day, including set-up and break down of all activations
  • Serve as ambassador for match day experience partners including, but not limited to, DJ, In-Game Host, Performance Groups, National Anthem Performers, etc.
  • Assist with community outreach efforts including, but not limited to, researching appearance opportunities and outreach events
  • Explore and recommend newest fan experience enhancements and promotion ideas
  • Other duties as assigned to continue to enhance the fan experience at FC Tulsa Events
Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled and working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (i.e. Business Administration, Marketing, Sport Management, Communications)
  • Proficiency with Workplace applications such as Docs, Drive, Gmail, and Sheets is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to draft professional emails, contribute to team discussions, and articulate ideas clearly is critical.
  • Strong work ethic & "team-first" mentality are a must.
  • Should be extremely organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on both quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and all home matchdays.
  • Knowledge of sports and/or soccer is preferred, but not required.
