You bring previous supervision experience and know how to support staff development through clear expectations, coaching, feedback, and accountability. You are comfortable building relationships in education settings and working closely with school partners to understand needs, solve problems, and strengthen implementation. You regularly review data, identify trends, ask strong questions, and help the team turn information into action. You value partnership and trust, and you build both through clear communication, consistent follow-through, and a student-centered approach to problem-solving.

- Co-lead operations, partner-pulse, program-health, and improvement meetings; document decisions and hold owners accountable for follow-through.
School Partnership Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for school partners across HIT and OST.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, liaisons, teachers, and other school-based staff.
- Establish predictable communication rhythms, including weekly updates, monthly check-ins, and quarterly data or program reviews as appropriate to each partnership.
- Coordinate school-based schedules, classroom and space needs, implementation logistics, data-sharing needs, feedback requests and partner action items..
- Independently problem-solve routine partner concerns and collaborate with the other APD or Director of Elementary Programs when concerns require escalation.
- Track partner feedback, follow-up items, and emerging trends across sites.
- Ensure school partners experience Kid Power as one coordinated Elementary Programs Team across HIT and OST.
Senior Staff Supervision & Team Development
- Supervise three senior staff members, providing regular check-ins, coaching, accountability, feedback, support and performance management.
- Establish clear outcomes and priorities, manage action plans, track progress, and complete responsibilities aligned with program goals.
- Monitor workload and progress, remove barriers, and support professional development and growth.
- Model clear, engaging, direct, and accountable leadership.
Data, Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
- Own data and evaluation systems for both HIT and OST, ensuring program data is accurate, timely, organized, and used to support continuous improvement.
- Manage and monitor key program data, including attendance, dosage, enrollment/participation, student progress, instructional implementation, lesson completion, surveys, family engagement, incident trends, and program quality indicators.
- Lead survey planning, administration, collection, organization, and analysis for students, families, staff, teachers, and school partners.
- Regularly review data, partner feedback, family/staff feedback, and site observations to identify trends, strengths, gaps, and recommended action steps.
- Prepare clear data summaries and program health updates for internal team meetings, school partner check-ins, grant reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Turn data and feedback into continuous improvement plans with clear owners, timelines, follow-up steps, and accountability structures.
On-Site and Program Support
- Conduct regular site visits to observe implementation, strengthen partner relationships, gather feedback, and support improvement.
- Address site needs, partner concerns, coverage challenges, program launch, events, and program closeout as needed including urgent needs and crisis management.
- Collaborate with the other APD when site concerns involve frontline staff performance, behavior management, coverage, or daily operations.
- Represent Kid Power professionally in partner meetings, school-based events, site visits, and external conversations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in education, nonprofit management, youth development, or a related field preferred.
- At least four years of progressively responsible experience in youth development, K-12 education, out-of-school time, school partnerships, or nonprofit program management.
