The Med & Care Family Clinic is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Physician Assistants to join our vibrant team in Springfield, Illinois. Work Environment

This position is based in a surgical center located onsite at our Springfield clinic, providing a dynamic work environment where collaboration is key. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own patient panel while supporting overflow from supervising physicians, facilitating comprehensive patient care.
  • Engage in a 100% clinic-based practice with the collaboration and support of skilled Medical Doctors.
  • Carry out a variety of clinical procedures, including intrauterine device (IUD) placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, and women's wellness exams, with opportunities to perform colposcopies and circumcisions if trained.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems (preferably EPIC) to maintain accurate and effective patient documentation.
  • Participate actively in the Advanced Practice Clinician Council, which provides further support and resources for professional development.
  • Engage in leadership training opportunities to enhance your skills and career pathway within the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Currently certified as a Physician Assistant and possess an unrestricted state medical license in Illinois.
