Do It For Yourself Wellness & Marriage & Family Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote care team. This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while ensuring that you have access to a supportive and collaborative team. Our outpatient office atmosphere allows you to connect with clients, assess their needs, and implement proper treatment plans effectively. You will be utilizing virtual platforms to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility while maintaining professional standards of care.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms within clients.
• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans, addressing their unique goals, preferences, and clinical needs.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and various family therapy approaches to improve client outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster empowerment and resilience.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals for comprehensive client care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatment methodologies to enrich therapeutic practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring data protection and privacy.
• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives to enhance personal and organizational strengths.
• Advocate for mental health awareness and address stigma within the community, aligning with our mission to support client needs and foster understanding.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals and families experiencing challenges stemming from marital issues, relationship conflicts, and mood disorders. Your expertise will help clients navigate their personal struggles effectively, offering them a pathway to healing and resilience during tumultuous times. In your role, you will utilize various therapeutic modalities to create an inclusive, supportive environment for clients transitioning through divorce and other relational challenges.

• A valid and active LMFT state license is a must.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and an understanding attitude toward the diverse experiences of clients are essential.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a busy caseload effectively.

• Experience in conducting divorce and relationship counseling preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatments such as CBT and DBT, along with other therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in managing a remote workspace for effective client interactions and collaborative care.
