Job description

Job Title: Bilingual Primary Care Physician (Outpatient Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)

Location: Alexandria, VA (Northern VA)

Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday; no evenings or weekends.

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician to join our established private practice serving the Alexandria, Springfield, and Lorton communities. The incoming provider will work alongside 12 primary care physicians, 8 advanced practitioners, and 10 physical therapists. This is an ideal role for a physician who values clinical autonomy and quality patient care. We are specifically looking for a physician who is fluent in Spanish to best accommodate the patient panel.

  • Adult-Focused Clinical Scope: Manage a diverse patient panel consisting primarily of adults and geriatrics. Our clinical focus centers on the comprehensive management of chronic conditions, including obesity, hypertension, and diabetes. To ensure a modern and flexible workflow, virtual visits are seamlessly integrated into the daily schedule.
  • Dedicated Team-Based Support: We believe in the power of consistency. Each provider is paired 1:1 with a dedicated MA to foster a strong working partnership and ensure a high level of continuity for our patients. This pairing allows you to focus on your patients with the confidence that your clinical "teammate" knows your preferences and your panel.
  • Streamlined & Efficient Workflow: Experience a balanced outpatient schedule. We protect your time with a guaranteed midday break and leverage Privias After-Hours Nursing line as a "first line of defense," which has significantly reduced call volume to a light, phone-only burden, which is shared between all primary care providers (1:20).
  • Structured Mentorship & Professional Stability: Whether you are an early career or experienced clinician, we offer a supportive environment with a long-term vision. Our practice uses a tiered structure designed to elevate both your compensation and your leadership responsibilities (if inclined) as you become more integrated into the team.
  • Long-Term Growth Potential: We offer a highly competitive starting package, including a guaranteed base salary and lucrative bonus structure, plus full benefits. For those seeking a stake in the practice, we offer a pathway to partnership.
About Alexandria & Northern Virginia:
  • Historic & Urban Sophistication: Offering a perfect blend of historic landmark charm and modern lifestyle, Alexandria provides a sophisticated "small-town" feel just minutes from the energy of downtown Washington, D.C.
  • Premier Connectivity: The region is ideally situated between three major airports and offers seamless access to the capitals power centers, cultural institutions, and the newly developed Amazon HQ2.
  • Cultural & Culinary Hub: Residents enjoy a vibrant waterfront, award-winning chef-driven restaurants, and a thriving arts scene, alongside world-class museums and five professional sports teams.
  • Active Lifestyle & Recreation: From the scenic Mount Vernon Trail to nearby state parks, the area offers extensive outdoor recreation for professionals and families alike.
  • Top-Tier Education: The community is located within a premier intellectual corridor, home to some of the nations highest-ranked public schools and elite institutions like Georgetown and Johns Hopkins Universities.

Our practice is a proud member of Privia Medical Group, a national physician organization with more than 4,300+ providers with over 1,100+ locations in multiple states. Through high-performance physician groups, accountable care organizations, and population health management programs, Privia works in partnership with health plans, health systems and employers to better align reimbursements to quality and outcomes.
