Family First Physical Therapy is a dedicated orthopedic outpatient practice renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is fully equipped with the latest in sports medicine technology, allowing us to deliver top-notch rehabilitation services. We pride ourselves on our patient-centered approach, focusing primarily on individuals with private health insurance. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all working collaboratively to ensure our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Fresno office, which features a state-of-the-art gym and treatment rooms designed for maximizing patient comfort and therapeutic effectiveness. You will be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and employs a holistic approach to patient care, integrating physical therapy methods with wellness programs that enhance overall health. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients’ goals, impairments, and functional limitations.
  • Manage a personalized caseload, typically addressing one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized attention.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and strength training.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions aimed at improving range of motion, flexibility, and functional mobility.
  • Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive environment that encourages progress.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on evolving patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create a unified approach to patient care, enhancing the overall treatment experience.
  • Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by integrating fitness and wellness education into patient interactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using EMR software (specifically WebPT) for efficient documentation and communication.
  • Continuously educate patients about their conditions and therapy options to facilitate informed decision-making.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at Family First Physical Therapy is working with individuals suffering from orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, focusing on restoring their mobility and empowering them with the knowledge and resources to maintain their wellness long-term. Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

  • Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols.
  • Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, ideally with at least 2 years of relevant practice.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
