Qualifications:

  • Such alternatives to the above qualification as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Reports To: Building Principal
Job Goal: Direct and inspire the high school band to achieve musical and performance excellence by preparing halftime shows, pep rallies, parades, and community events during the fall season, while fostering teamwork, discipline, school spirit, and student growth in a safe, positive environment.
Performance Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, organize, and conduct rehearsals to prepare students for halftime shows, pep rallies, parades, and other fall season performances.
  2. Develop student musicianship and marching skills through consistent instruction, feedback, and performance-focused practices.
  3. Coordinate logistics and communication including rehearsal schedules, performance arrangements, transportation, uniforms, and equipment needs with other staff in the program.
