Job description

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted facility operations.
This position serves as the senior-level maintenance technician and is expected to work independently, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and support in maintaining operational excellence throughout the facility.
Requirements
What you'll do
  • Maintain and repair building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, and BAS
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Complete work orders and keep maintenance records/logs up to date
  • Respond to service calls and emergencies, including some after-hours/on-call support
  • Support facility projects (installs, upgrades, repairs) and coordinate with vendors onsite
  • Track spare parts/supplies and flag reorder needs
  • Follow safety protocols (LOTO, OSHA, confined space, fall protection)
  • Mentor junior technicians and share best practices

What you need
  • High school diploma/GED (trade school a plus)
  • 5+ years commercial/industrial maintenance experience
  • Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical knowledge
  • Can read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals
  • CMMS experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license

Physical demands
