Job description

Company Overview
Established in 1947, Pro Signs is a signage and branding company located in Downingtown, PA. We are seeking an experienced Installation Technician (Mechanic Level/ Lead) to join our team. As one of the largest full-service sign companies in the Mid-Atlantic, Pro Signs specializes in regional and national account work as well as local architectural signage projects. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Installation Manager and duties include removal, installation, and repair commercial signage such as building signs, vinyl graphics, and other sign structures for businesses and organizations.
Duties
  • Install various types of building signs, vinyl graphics, and sign structures for businesses and organizations.
  • Signage installation on poles, buildings, billboards, and other structures.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Ensure the measurement, placement, connection, and installation of signage is precise to assigned standards.
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to the client's location.
  • Service and repair signage.
  • Remove old signage.
  • Clear debris and other materials after completion of the project.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a sign installer or similar position.
  • Electrical, Welding, other mechanical experience helpful.
  • Attention to detail and precision is a must.
  • Strong organizational skill and ability to read installation drawings for specs.
  • Motivated, reliable, and ability to work on a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
  • Experience working at heights (tree work or bucket truck experience)
  • Knowledge of fall protection guidelines.
