Role Description
This is a full-time, weekday and occasional weekend travel role based out of Charleston, SC.. The Installation Technician will install and maintain fall protection systems and equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure installations meet safety standards. The role involves collaborating with customers to understand their needs, ensuring satisfaction with completed work, and maintaining a professional level of communication. Additional responsibilities include adhering to company safety protocols, managing technical cabling, and providing support during inspections or service calls.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction or skilled trades
- Proficient in operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and lulls
- Experience with steel erection and installation (preffered but not required)
- Proficiency in cabling and related installation tasks (preffered but not required)
- Understanding of fall protection systems and safety regulations is a plus
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including heights
- Prior experience in installation or a relevant technical field is preferred
- Willing to travel during the week and occasional weekends
- Able to read and interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints
